Sterile Gauze Swabs and Lap Sponges are made of pure medical cotton gauze after degreasing and pre-washing. Small gauze swabs are widely used for preoperative skin cleaning and outpatient wound dressing; large laparotomy sponges are designed for absorbing massive hemorrhage in abdominal, orthopedic and major surgeries. Available with or without X-ray detectable marker, individually EO sterile packed for surgical pack assembly, stable quality and complete certification for global medical suppliers.

Full degreasing treatment greatly improve absorption speed, rapidly soak blood and irrigation fluid during surgery and wound care.

Pre-wash & Low Lint Treatment

Pre-wash sizing removed, effectively reduce loose fiber shedding, avoid foreign body left inside surgical incision.

Optional X-Ray Radiopaque Thread

Radiopaque lap sponge can be checked via X-ray to prevent sponge retention inside body cavity, meet international OR safety standard.
